Vocabulary anak anak

I hope it can help my students knowing what should/will they learn at TrenggaleksinaubosoInggris.

1. Wild animals and Farm Animals (binatang liar dan binatang ternak).
2. Fruit and Vegetable (buah dan sayur).
3. Things in the House (living room, bed room, bathroom, and kitchen)(benda di dalam rumah).
4. Things at School (benda benda di sekolah).
5. Clothing (pakaian).
6. Profession/Job (pekerjaan).
7. Food and Drink (makanan dan minuman).
8. Hobbies (hobi).
9. Date and Month (tanggal dan bulan).
10. Numbers (angka).

Berbagi pengalaman

Conditional Sentence Cards

Conditional Sentence is one of the most difficult English grammar based on my students experience. They are always confused by this grammar. That is why, I would like to try this technique to learn Conditional Sentence. The material we need is a set of colorful cards, and I made it by myself.
The goal of this activity is to revise the pattern of conditional sentences.

Procedures
1. Students learn the pattern of conditional sentence using easy-understanding chart.

Type
If clause
Main clause
Fact
I
Present Simple
V1/Vs

Future Simple
Will + V1

Possibility

II
Past Simple
V2

Past Future
Would + V1

Impossible for NOW (Present)

III
Past Perfect
Had + V3

Past Future Perfect
Would + Have + V3

Impossible for in the PAST (Paste Simple)

2. Students revise the verbs used in each clause using sticky notes. On the board, teacher attach a sheet of large paper like the above chart but missing the verbs on 'if clause and main clause'. Students work in pair, then they write the pair of verbs based on the type of conditional sentence as many as possible with the time set, for example, have-will go; had-would go;had had-would have gone.
3. At last, student and his/her partner match the cards of conditional sentences, they have to match the "if clause" and "main clause". Students who can firstly finish this challenge will be the winner. Here is the matching card that can be used by the students. Cut the matching card below and mix the cards, put them in an envelope and distribute it to the students.
If we had left the house earlier,

If I win the prize,
I will share the prize with you.
If your sister buys you a chocolate,
You will be very happy.
If I submit the work in late,
My lecturer will not accept my work.
If we had known her before,
We would have talked to her soon.
if we didn’t have to study,
We could go to the cinema tonight.
If Peter studied very well,
He would pass the national examination.

I would not have told my secret to her.

"Ranking 1"

Have you ever seen the quiz TV program called "Ranking 1"? Well, I would like to make a reviewing activity of learning English using this game in my classroom.

Then, the preparation is making a set of question cards that is divided into three parts (level 1, level 2, and level 3). The students prepare two pieces of papers and write two big letters "A" and "B" on each paper. It is used to give the answer of the questions. Students sit in a circle and teacher call out the questions card of level 1, students raise the answer sheet, and students who give the wrong answer will get out from the circle, so it is go on until the last level or there is only one student remained, and he/she will be the winner of this "Ranking 1' game.

Indonesia is very popular for its various kinds of food. Have you ever heard about “Gethuk and Utri”? Yes, these are traditional food from Indonesia. You will easily find these kinds of food in a traditional market of Karangan, Trenggalek, East Java, Indonesia. They are really delicious and sweet, and both of them are made from the same ingredient, cassava. 6. Finally, serve it while it is warm and use grated-coconut as a topping.
