IT IS A WATERMELON

Material     : Pictures of fruits and dice.

Preparation: You will need pictures of fruits to put on the board, or you can use fruits flashcards. 

Aim           : To practice and revise fruit vocabulary and produce simple descriptions.

Age            : 5-10

Procedures

1. Show the pictures of fruits on the board or by calling out the names of fruits. Students practice the       pronunciation and the vocabulary.

2. Students work in pairs and do the quiz of search word game to practice fruit vocabulary.

3. Having practice all the vocabulary, put on six pictures of fruits on the board and numbered 1-6.

4. Student throws a dice. The number thrown corresponds to a fruit on the board, and student must         make a sentence about the fruit, for example "It is a watermelon". So, it is go on until the students       revise all the vocabularies about the names of fruits.
